Ever since conceptualizing 5 Minute Movie Guy, I’ve been adamant about keeping my review scores on a strict 5 star scale. However, lately I’ve found myself struggling with setting scores for my reviews that accurately represent how I really feel, and this is a problem that must be fixed once and for all!
Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk takes us deep into one of the cornerstone moments of World War II in which Allied forces are cornered by Nazi Germany. Surrounded on the beaches of Dunkirk, France, the only way to salvation for nearly half a million soldiers is across the tumultuous English Channel.
It’s been 5 years since that tragically fateful night in Aurora, Colorado, when one man entered a sold-out movie theater armed with assortment of weapons and opened fire. It was the highest casualty count of any shooting attack in America, and all these years later, our gun control laws still fail us.
